Wilder Fields is a funded, pre-Series A startup in the vertical farming industry. We are a group of passionate, driven, and pragmatic people looking to revolutionize the farming & produce industries. Our strategy revolves around repurposing abandoned big box retail stores and converting them into indoor farms. Having spent the last several years proving out our revolutionary model, we are now building out our first commercial-scale vertical farm in Calumet City, IL.

We are committed to developing low-impact, sustainable agricultural techniques designed to minimize space, water, and resource consumption while maximizing growing efficiency and yield. We use 95% less water than outdoor farms, shorten the supply chain by growing near urban centers, produce fresh produce year-round, and are 100% pesticide-free. We are helping people lead better, healthier lives in a way that helps the planet.

Wilder Fields has a hands-on, hungry culture in which no job is too big or too small for anyone on the team. With ~15 employees currently on board, we are looking to grow the team as we ramp up production in early 2022.
