It all started 5 years ago, when our founder had a Newton's apple moment, realizing that the utilities business was struggling to adopt modern technology while other industries had already reaping benefits of Digital technologies.

Bynry is a leading **US based, growth stage, vertical B2B SaaS product company** that offers **Smart360: An AI-enabled Smart Utility Platform** to small and mid-sized utilities. Headquartered in NJ, USA and a tech office in Pune, India. Our mission is to accelerate the digital transformation of utilities and assist in the development of better communities. We accomplish this through raising awareness, delivering relevant knowledge, and using AI-enabled cloud-based technology.  

The majority of small and mid-sized utilities (Electric, Gas, Water, Waste, Sewer, Broadband) in semi-urban and rural areas still **rely on manual processes, excel sheets, and fragmented age-old systems** that rely on **human resources and multiple data entry**, resulting in billing delays and errors, customer service concerns, and cybersecurity threats. This ultimately results in **millions of dollars in losses**, inability to grow with increasing demand, and low consumer satisfaction. In order to transition to modern technology, existing players, such as SAP, Oracle (suitable for big utilities servicing urban regions) face a 15-18-month onboarding cycle, high implementation costs, and complex modules to integrate.

For Smaller setup, such as 1000 to 100,000 consumers, Smart360 is a first step in enabling utilities in a faster and simpler way to adopt modern technology. Today, our platform serves 850,000 consumers monthly and handles $500 million in billing data annually transforming over 10 small and mid-sized utilities across 11 cities for Electric, Water, Gas, and Broadband.
