As the first manager of our Business Development team, you’ll spearhead our efforts to source new clients, build out our lead generation strategy, and drive marketing.
Your ultimate responsibility will be to drive the overall volume of lead generation of the company.
As the Business Development team manager, you’ll apply your background to help structure our lead generation process and business development team itself, including advising and mentoring more junior SDRs and BDAs (Business Development Associates). Since you’ll be the first manager of the team in a rapidly growing environment, this will be a very high-impact approach.

As part of this effort you will need to travel to conferences and client sites to build in-person relationships and deeply understand scientists’ workflows. You’ll also play an important role in our marketing, helping to ideate and push on our marketing strategy to further accelerate lead generation.
About half your time will be spent on individual work such as cold outbound and inside sales lead generation. You’ll have to strategize and execute on efforts tied into marketing such as webinars and live events, carefully source clients and build profiles of the market, and work with the account executive team to qualify and hand over leads.
