Conduct all patient interactions in a manner that is patient-centered and reflective of THA/Kind Clinic values

Assist Patient Support Center leadership in creating processes and systems that facilitate optimal Patient Support Center flow

Waterloo Counseling Center is seeking an Associate Therapist to conduct initial client evaluations, develop personalized treatment plans, educate staff and clients on coping strategies for stress and trauma, provide resources to support clients in achieving their goals, and monitor progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
Essential Duties
Provide therapy services to agency clients following established, published therapeutic theories as preferred by the therapist and approved by the Clinical Supervisor.
Maintain a clinical schedule meeting the following requirements:
25 direct client hours per week
4 evening individual client hours per week (5 pm and later) weekend hours may meet this requirement
When located within 40 miles of a Texas Health Action office with therapy space, therapist will be required to include 4 in-person session availabilities per week.
Maintain clinical information confidentially unless required or authorized to disclose information.
Complete intake assessments and clinical diagnoses using the current version of the Diagnostic and Statistics Manual (DSM) for all new clients within 14 days of an initial appointment.
Maintain accurate, current clinical progress notes of all clinical services provided.
Complete administrative tasks related to appointments within required timeframes.
Attend weekly and monthly meetings and supervisions as scheduled.
Participate in agency committees as appropriate, specifically if within 40 miles of any Texas Health Action office/clinic, attend at least one THA community or team event per year.
Procure and maintain clinical supervision for licensure independently.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Waterloo Counseling Center is seeking a Bilingual Licensed Therapist that will perform initial evaluations of client needs and develop customized treatment plans, educate staff and clients on stress and trauma coping mechanisms, provide individuals with the resources they need to reach personal goals, and monitor client progress and modify their treatment plans as needed.

This is a full-time, exempt position. Responsibilities-
Full Cycle Accounting:
Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
Facilitate prompt completion of comprehensive monthly close process.
Identify process improvements and maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial systems and data.
Financial Reporting:
Ensure accurate and timely financial statements and reporting in accordance with GAAP and nonprofit reporting standards.

Grant Administration:

Audit and Compliance:

Treasury:

THA is currently seeking a Medical Case Manager to serve our Kind Clinic location for our Virtual and Dallas Oak Lawn Location- based out of our South Austin Admin Building with potential of Work from Home capacities. This position will flex for Dallas and Austin patients and will work closely with clients receiving sexual health services to coordinate a range of client-centered services linking them to healthcare, psychosocial services and support, and/or other services as needed. This position reports to the Care Navigation Manager on the Patient Support Services team. What you would do:
● Collaborate with patient advocacy and clinical staff to identify current clients who are eligible for medical case management services
● Perform comprehensive assessments to determine clients’ strengths, resources, and needs for services
● Work with clients to develop an individual Service Coordination Plan, which includes realistic, measurable, and mutually acceptable goals that are based on the results of the assessment

Texas Health Action is seeking a Nurse Manager based out of out Austin Kind Clinics that is responsible for clinical oversight of our nursing teams within Kind Clinics, Outreach & Testing, This is a full-time, exempt position requiring 40 hours a week with some evening and weekend hours.
The ideal candidate for this role maintains effective communication with our nurses, staff and physicians, provides patient care in a competent, professional and courteous manner, and partners closely with each Clinic Manager (Austin, Dallas, San Antonio & Virtual Services) as to the specific areas of clinical practice required for our licensed nurses.
Essential Duties:
Collaborate with operational managers and the Patient Access Nurse Manager to ensure appropriate nurse staffing for clinical operations.
Attend regular Kind Clinic manager meetings to support integrated clinical-administrative care coordination and service delivery.
Oversee clinical management duties, including conducting performance reviews, maintaining supervisory workflows, providing feedback, and assisting in the development of performance improvement plans for the nursing team.
Lead and participate in clinical quality reviews and facilitate quality improvement projects under the direction of the Director of Clinical Quality.
Adhere to the organization’s nursing SDOs, policies, and procedures.
Comply with Texas DSHS notifiable condition reporting requirements.
Organize regular nursing team meetings focused on team-building and professional development.
Act as a clinical resource and professional role model for nursing staff.
Coordinate nurse onboarding and annual training in partnership with the clinical education manager, patient access nursing manager, and administrative supervisors.
Conduct regular medical chart and incident report reviews.
Compile and analyze data for audits and reports.
Assist in the development and revision of clinical policies and procedures in line with regulatory guidance, evidence-based practices, and funding requirements.
Stay current on clinical care standards and external requirements, including DSHS STI/HIV, TIPP, ASN, Immtrac, and Class D Pharmacy standards.
Ensure completion of the Vaccine Management Plan (VMP) and ASN re-enrollments for each location, serving as a backup vaccine coordinator when needed.
Communicate professionally and effectively with staff, consultants, patients, partners, and the community.
Promote conflict resolution and enhance patient and staff satisfaction.
Perform both direct and indirect patient care nursing tasks as needed.
Maintain clinical competencies through direct care observation and active participation in clinical practice.
Prioritize tasks and services, ensuring timely completion.

Texas Health Action is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at our Central Texas Austin Kind Clinic's to evaluate, plan, and provide care for patients in consultation with and under direct supervision of the attending Physician. This is a full-time, exempt position requiring 40 hours a week with some night and weekend hours.
The ideal candidate for the NP/PA role maintains effective communication with patients, staff and physicians, provides patient care in a competent, professional and courteous manner, and keeps abreast of current research and incorporates relevant findings into specific areas of clinical practice.

Performs clinical procedures under direction of attending Physician and according to approved protocols
Performs a wide range of activities, which include but not limited to: assessment, history & physical, recommendations for patient plan of care

Texas Health Action (THA) is currently seeking Registered Nurses at our South Austin Kind Clinic location. This role will report to the Clinic Administrator along with clinical oversight.
What you would do:
Assist with the evaluation and care of patients seen at Kind Clinic, including, but not limited to: preparing patients for examination, taking vital signs, verifying patient information by interviewing patient and recording medical history
Provide direct nursing care to patients, including the provision of lab services, and the distribution of medications and treatments according to accepted standards of care
Conduct patient follow-up visits and physical examinations according to accepted standards of care and within the definitions of the Texas Nursing Practice Act
Teach and counsel patients concerning health assessment and care including prevention of disease, disability, hygiene, and health maintenance in a safe, affirming, and culturally appropriate manner

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) acts as a strategic advisor to line managers, providing comprehensive HR support across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, benefits administration, training, compliance, and offboarding. Texas Health Action is seeking PRN Medical Assistant to work as needed at our Central Austin Kind Clinic and aid with the delivery of patient care during the respective clinic hours of operation. This role will report to the Clinic Administrator.
What you would do:
Effectively room and prepare patients for clinic visit
Obtain and record patient medical histories, including allergies, family, social and surgical history and other information for medical records
Acquire vital signs
Assist with phlebotomy and lab specimen processing as needed during clinic hours of operation
Dispense medication and provide STI treatments to include injections in accordance with clinician directive and existing Standing Delegation Orders (SDOs)
Act as a liaison between the laboratory, clinician, and patients
Evaluate provider requests for accuracy and completeness, orders, verify labeling/identification, and follow appropriate protocol in handling specimens
Thoroughly clean/stock exam rooms
Assist clinic staff and Clinic Administrator in monitoring inventory levels and verifies receipt of supplies in accordance with established policies and procedure
Utilize and promotes infection control measures and universal precautions to maintain high quality of health and safety during clinic operation

Texas Health Action is seeking a Medical Assistant (Spanish/English Preferred) to work at our South Austin Kind Clinic to aid with the delivery of patient care during the respective clinic hours of operation. This role will report to the Clinic Administrator.
What you would do:
Effectively room and prepare patients for clinic visit
Obtain and record patient medical histories, including allergies, family, social and surgical history and other information for medical records
Acquire vital signs
Assist with phlebotomy and lab specimen processing as needed during clinic hours of operation
Dispense medication and provide STI treatments to include injections in accordance with clinician directive and existing Standing Delegation Orders (SDOs)
Act as a liaison between the laboratory, clinician, and patients
Evaluate provider requests for accuracy and completeness, orders, verify labeling/identification, and follow appropriate protocol in handling specimens
Thoroughly clean/stock exam rooms
Assist clinic staff and Clinic Administrator in monitoring inventory levels and verifies receipt of supplies in accordance with established policies and procedure
Utilize and promotes infection control measures and universal precautions to maintain high quality of health and safety during clinic operation
Complete annual clinical competencies
Maintain a system of confidentiality according to clinic’s policies and procedures and per HIPAA guidelines
Foster teamwork within the clinic
Participate in staff, planning, in-service, and other meetings as needed.

Texas Health Action (THA) is currently seeking a Float Registered Nurses at our Kind Clinic, Austin location's. This role will report to the Clinic Administrator along with clinical oversight for our Central Kind Clinic, Outreach and Testing as well as South Kind Clinic.
What you would do:
Assist with the evaluation and care of patients seen at Kind Clinic, including, but not limited to: preparing patients for examination, taking vital signs, verifying patient information by interviewing patient and recording medical history
Provide direct nursing care to patients, including the provision of lab services, and the distribution of medications and treatments according to accepted standards of care
Conduct patient follow-up visits and physical examinations according to accepted standards of care and within the definitions of the Texas Nursing Practice Act
Teach and counsel patients concerning health assessment and care including prevention of disease, disability, hygiene, and health maintenance in a safe, affirming, and culturally appropriate manner
Provide clinical training to new Medical Assistant staff and relevant feedback to the Clinic Administrator regarding training progress
Adequately reviews and prepares charts prior to daily visits
Serve as a mentor to clinic support staff
Act as a liaison and collaborate with Patient Support Center RN team as needed
Follow organization’s clinical SDOs, policies and procedures when interpreting lab results, sending medication refills or scheduling treatments
Follow Texas DSHS notifiable condition verbal reporting requirements related to in-clinic diagnoses of presumptive primary syphilis and acute HIV
Prioritize work tasks and services and completes tasks in a timely manner
Maintain accurate, clear and concise progress notes, problem lists, and medication lists
Communicate appropriately and tactfully with staff, patients, partners, and community.
Actively engage in a quality improvement culture within department/organization and participate in identified quality improvement activities

Payroll Management:
Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll compliant with payroll and tax related regulations.
Serve as the escalation point for payroll-related inquiries, payroll discrepancies and guidance on complex payroll matters.

Accounts Payable Management:
