Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and user guides, including the Production Process Flow, Source Selection, Evaluation and Preparation, HG Production Methodology/Data Processing, HG Schemas/Templates/Metadata, Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Criteria and Process, HG Data/Product Outputs, and HG Data/Product Dissemination/Archive/Feedback/Management, for Human Geography modeling on common Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) platforms. Provide the capability to exploit necessary data sources and user-controlled variables/indicators to enable users to produce specific datasets within their own exploitation environment.

OSINT Analysts will:
Conduct OSINT activities in response to Government Request for Information (RFI) or tasking from the OIC, including collaborating with the Government to clarify and refine the RFI, collecting, exploiting, and analyzing open-source information online, and preparing reports in the required format, with minimal supervision, using commercial internet, NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and SCINet systems and tools.
Populate and maintain databases in support of and in coordination with Data Analysts and Data Scientists.
Document the types and structure of open-source data, analyze and mine data to identify patterns and correlations, trace and map data from system to system or source to source, and design and create data reports.
Assist the OSINT Team in utilizing and evaluating available Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) tools.
Use COTS tools to aggregate, structure, visualize, and assess available open-source information, while inferring and evaluating the relevance, veracity, and credibility of the information and its source.
Utilize managed attribution (MA) software and associated online tradecraft during OSINT collection activities, demonstrating an understanding of the limitations of MA tools.
Develop innovative methods to combine data from various tools to produce analytical results that provide greater value and relevance to Operational Forces.
Train and mentor Marines in OSINT tradecraft and best practices, including the ability to administer MCIA’s Expeditionary OSINT Course.
Identify, develop, and formalize new OSINT tradecraft and other SOPs to fulfill mission requirements.
Leverage language skills and cultural/area knowledge to support OSINT activities, including proficiency in Arabic, Farsi/Persian, Korean, Mandarin, and Russian, with a DLPT score of 3/3 or higher (DLPT score must be no older than 5 years at the time of hire).
Develop open-source research strategies to address specific information gaps.
Manually search, exploit, and analyze various online open sources, including media, social media, academic literature, videos, maps, etc., in the target language to complement information from other sources or to fill information gaps.
Use various tools and methods to verify the authenticity and currency of information gathered from the internet.
Create reports using Word and PowerPoint to communicate research findings, generating Open-Source Intelligence Reports (OSIRs).
Verbally present findings and research methods to various stakeholders.
Use language skills to search for and translate foreign articles, journals, and other media into English.
Participate in meetings, conferences, and exercises.
Candidates should have completed a joint-accredited OSINT course. Joint-accredited OSINT courses include, but are not limited to: EOSINT (USMC), OS301 and OS302 (Army), ONI OSINT Fundamentals Course (Navy), Introduction to OSINT (USAF), DIA BOTC (DIA), NGA OSINT Course (NGA), NERD (SOCOM). The Level 1 Property Specialist shall possess the following capabilities:
Account for property received, shipped, excessed, moved, installed, cannibalized, deleted, or transferred under the inventory control process.
Maintain the source systems of record by performing data entry for new incoming property, transferred property, and excessed property.
Perform in the execution of material handling processes for shipping, receiving, storage, and disposition of property.
Perform all property accountability functions and property management functions in accordance with government guidance and industry best practices.
Physically perform out of cycle inventories, which are inventory activities supporting special mission requirements scheduled at the discretion of the government.
Physically perform the inventory and reconciliation of Agency Owned Accountable Property (AOAP) annually using the NSA approved methods within the specified timeframe.
Physically perform the inventory and reconciliation of Agency-owned and Non-AOAP Portable Computing Devices (PCDs) semi-annually using the NSA approved methods within the specified timeframe.
Physically barcode all accountable property down to the LRU (Lowest Replaceable Unit) and ensure the information is added into the source systems of record.
Perform in the completion of NSA’s Mock Audits, NSA’s Office of Inspector General Financial audits and Office of Inspector General site inspections as they pertain to Property Services.
Validate asset records against physical assets and ensure information is entered into the source systems of record accurately, completely, and consistently.
Coordinate submission of hand receipts covering all assets with either a hard copy document or within the source systems of record, and monitor compliance as required in Agency policy
Perform in providing inventory reports in accordance with government guidelines.
Accurately input asset data into the source systems of record. This includes but is not limited to transfers, asset creation, excess, storage, movement and mailing.
Have a valid state, territory, or federal district issued driver’s license
Lift up to 50lbs unassisted
Remain standing for extended periods of time
Communicate effectively at a level consistent with professional standards in both written and verbal formats.
