## Description

​\* Simple Staffing is hiring for this position on behalf of Embark Behavioral Health \*  

Join a **mission-driven, trauma-informed, patient-centered** team supporting adolescents (12–17) in **mental health treatment, recovery, and life-skills development**. As a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), you’ll partner with licensed clinicians to provide **direct patient care, crisis intervention, de-escalation, and therapeutic engagement**.  

Responsibilities:

-   Facilitate **group activities** (art, music, recreation) to build coping skills
-   Provide **behavioral support, mentoring, and structured routines**
-   Use **evidence-based, trauma-informed care techniques**
-   Document progress and collaborate with clinical teams
-   Respond to escalations using **safe intervention protocols  
    **

Qualifications:

-   21+ with HS diploma/GED (degree in human services preferred)
-   0–1+ year in **behavioral health, education, coaching, or youth services** (preferred)
-   Willingness for **CPR/First Aid, physical intervention training** (provided)
-   Ability to stand, move quickly, and support **crisis stabilization**
-   Must pass background and drug screening per MO law
-   Bonus for prior mental health or youth experience
