Mercier Consultancy is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a German Content Moderator to join a leading social media platform while based in Greece. As a German Content Moderator, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a safe, respectful, and positive online environment for German-speaking users by carefully reviewing user-generated content. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that all content aligns with the platform’s community guidelines and company policies, thereby upholding the integrity and quality of the platform.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Review, moderate, and evaluate content on social media platforms in German to ensure adherence to community standards.
-   Classify and make accurate moderation decisions based on established guidelines.
-   Identify and escalate inappropriate or harmful content to relevant teams promptly.
-   Provide feedback and insights on content trends and user behavior to enhance moderation strategies.
-   Collaborate with the moderation team to improve processes and maintain high-quality standards.
-   Stay updated on company policies and industry best practices related to content moderation.

## Requirements

-   Exceptional fluency in German (written and spoken) is essential.
-   A minimum of B2 in English proficiency is mandatory.
-   Previous experience in content moderation, especially for social media platforms, is preferred.
-   Excellent attention to detail and ability to apply moderation guidelines consistently.
-   Strong communication skills to effectively convey moderation decisions and collaborate with teams.
-   Ability to handle sensitive content with discretion and professionalism.
-   Familiarity with social media platforms and moderation tools is a plus.
-   Willingness to live and work in Greece and adapt to a new cultural environment.
