## Description

### Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Executive to manage payroll operations, employee data, statutory compliance and employee grievances relating to payroll and benefits.

The ideal candidate will have strong practical knowledge of payroll processing, PF, ESI, statutory requirements and HR data management, with the ability to provide timely and accurate support to employees.

### Key Responsibilities

### Payroll Management

-   Manage end-to-end payroll processing in coordination with internal teams and external payroll partners, where applicable.
-   Ensure salary inputs, deductions, reimbursements, leave data, attendance data and other payroll components are processed accurately and on time.
-   Validate payroll reports and ensure payroll activities are completed within required deadlines.
-   Maintain accurate payroll records and protect the confidentiality of employee salary information.

### Payroll Grievance Handling

-   Respond to employee queries and grievances relating to salaries, deductions, reimbursements, tax declarations, payslips and payroll corrections.
-   Coordinate with Finance, payroll vendors and employees to resolve payroll concerns promptly.
-   Track payroll issues and ensure they are properly documented and closed.

### PF, ESI and Statutory Compliance

-   Manage PF activities, including UAN creation and linking, KYC updates, PF transfers, withdrawals, claims and employee queries.
-   Handle ESI registrations and support employees with ESI-related requirements and benefits.
-   Support statutory compliance activities, including PF, ESI, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund and other applicable labour-law requirements.
-   Ensure statutory data, returns and compliance documents are submitted on time.
-   Maintain accurate records for audits and compliance reviews.

### HR Data Management

-   Maintain and update employee records within the HRMS and internal trackers.
-   Ensure employee data is accurate, including personal details, bank details, salary information, employment status, attendance and statutory records.
-   Prepare payroll inputs, compliance reports, headcount reports, HR reports and dashboards as required.
-   Ensure employee records are documented and maintained in line with company policies.

### Employee Support and Coordination

-   Support employees with payroll, statutory benefits, PF, ESI and compliance-related queries.
-   Coordinate with internal stakeholders regarding employee documentation, approvals and data validation.
-   Support wider HR operations where required, including onboarding, offboarding, documentation and employee record maintenance.

### Required Skills and Competencies

-   Strong knowledge of payroll processing and statutory compliance.
-   Good understanding of PF, ESI, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund and other applicable labour-compliance requirements.
-   Strong data-management and reporting skills.
-   Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HRMS or payroll systems.
-   Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information.
-   Good communication and employee grievance-handling skills.
-   Ability to work accurately within strict payroll and compliance deadlines.
-   Strong follow-up, coordination and problem-solving skills.
-   Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

### Qualifications and Experience

-   Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Commerce, Business Administration or a related field.
-   Two to three years’ relevant experience in payroll, HR operations and statutory compliance.
-   Previous experience within a multinational company is preferred.
-   Experience handling PF claims, ESI, payroll grievances and HR data management is strongly preferred.
