## Description

We are seeking a Drama Teacher for a private high school based in Guangzhou. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August.

Job responsibilities

-   Teach the subject of Drama to secondary school students, including middle and high school students, ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
-   Prepare lessons and lectures, develop teaching materials, design and correct assessments, and write report comments
-   Guide students in performance skills, theatre appreciation, script work, stage presence, and creative expression
-   Organize and support drama performances, school productions, showcases, and related extracurricular activities
-   Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
-   Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
-   Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
-   Develop supportive, creative, and safe learning environments
-   Participate in school activities as arranged by the school

## Requirements

-   Bachelor degree or above in Drama, Performing Arts, Theatre, Education, or a related subject
-   Teaching certificate
-   Two or more years teaching experience in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related subject
-   Experience teaching secondary school students is preferred
-   Excellent communication skills
