**Roles and responsibilities**

-   Build and enhance backend services that power Trackier's core products, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and capable of handling high volumes of traffic and data.
-   Design, develop, test, and maintain production-grade software using modern backend technologies while following engineering best practices and coding standards.
-   Develop secure, efficient, and reusable REST APIs and backend services that seamlessly integrate with frontend applications and third-party platforms.
-   Contribute to the design and implementation of distributed systems, working with databases, caching layers, asynchronous processing, and microservices to deliver high-performance solutions.
-   Participate throughout the software development lifecycle—from understanding product requirements and writing clean code to testing, deployment, monitoring, and continuous optimization.
-   Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement scalable solutions that improve application performance, stability, and reliability.
-   Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while actively participating in code reviews and incorporating feedback to continuously improve engineering quality.
-   Gain hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines by working with technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
-   Collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, and Engineering teams to understand business requirements, deliver high-quality features, and ensure a seamless user experience.
-   Continuously learn and adopt emerging technologies, frameworks, and engineering practices that improve development efficiency, product quality, and platform scalability.

## Requirements

-   2+ years of experience building software applications.
-   B.E./B.Tech is mandatory.
-   Proficiency in at least one of the following technologies: Golang, Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript), Python, PHP, or Java.
-   Good understanding of backend development, REST APIs, and distributed application architecture.
-   Experience with the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React/Angular, Node.js) is an added advantage.
-   Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
-   Hands-on exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP, and cloud-native development.
-   Experience working with Git, CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins, and collaborative development workflows.
-   Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for building scalable software.
