## Description

We are currently recruiting a permanent **Surveyor** to join our team. This is a key role, completing various surveys including stock condition, DMC, and environmental health inspections, ensuring our customers have safe homes to live in.

**Duties include:**

-   Deliver effective and cost efficient building surveying and property maintenance services, including the management, appraisal, design, construction, maintenance, repair and refurbishment of Incommunities domestic and commercial properties.
-   Take responsibility for the delivery and management of efficient and effective building surveying services that deliver value for money.
-   Complete damp and mould surveys, stock condition surveys, Environmental Health requests for Service Inspections, home alteration, wayleave requests  within the principles of Housing Health and Safety Rating System and other legislative requirements.
-   Complete energy efficiency surveys.
-   Undertake general building surveys, inspections, defect diagnostics and make recommendations on the amendment of design documents and identify, qualify and resolve building defect issues.
-   Undertake regular site visits, issuing progress reports and resolving any issues that have arisen.

## Requirements

-   A level 4 qualification (HNC/NVQ), or educated to an A Level Standard and/or relevant technical qualification or experience.
-   Experience or knowledge of building pathology, surveying processes and methods of construction.
-   The ability to prepare and write progress reports, and read construction documents, drawings and specifications.
-   Negotiation and conflict resolution skills, and the ability to be assertive, observant, co-operative, flexible and analytical.
-   Commitment to a customer focused service and equal opportunities.
-   Full driving licence and own vehicle as you will be expected to use your own vehicle to conduct surveys across the Bradford district.
-   Right to work in the UK - Visa Sponsorship is not available.
