## Description

**Position Summary**

The Grocery Lead supports the Grocery Manager in overseeing the store's dry grocery, dairy, frozen foods, and bulk operations. The Grocery Lead will focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience while driving sales, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and ensuring the center store departments are well-stocked, organized and visually appealing. As a Manager on Duty (MOD), this position plays a key role in the overall success of the store.

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Support grocery team members by prioritizing and assigning daily tasks 
-   Work closely with the Grocery Manager and vendor partners to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize inventory shrink 
-   Ensure shelves, displays,and promotional areas are well-stocked, organized, clean, and visually appealing.
-   Assist the Grocery Manager in ensuring compliance with OSHA policies, food safety regulations, and company policies. 
-   Work closely with the leadership team to deliver on merchandising and promotional objectives.
-   Analyze daily and weekly reports to identify opportunities and implement corrective actions.
-   Serve as Manager‑on‑Duty (MOD) as needed.

## Requirements

**Qualifications**

-   5+ years of relevant industry experience
-   Basic knowledge of computers, POS systems, and cash handling procedures
-   Strong understanding of store operations, merchandising, inventory management, and labor planning
-   Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to make quick, effective decisions
-   Excellent communication and organizational skills
-   Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
-   High school diploma or GED required  
    

**Physical Requirements**

-   Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time; bend, and lift up to 40 lbs.
-   Comfortable working in varying temperature environments (coolers, freezers, kitchens)

**Compensation**

Hourly Rate: $22.50 - $25.00
