## Description

Our client, a leading payment aggregation platform enabling businesses to accept digital payments through a single integration, seeks to hire a Finance Manager to provide financial leadership across a diversified Group of Companies.

The successful candidate will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team, overseeing the full spectrum of financial management including financial reporting, regulatory compliance, budgeting and forecasting, treasury operations, internal controls, and cross‑functional business partnering. The Finance Manager will also play a pivotal role in shaping the Group’s financial strategy, supporting sustainable growth, optimizing financial performance, and enabling sound, data‑driven decision‑making across all business units.

### Key Responsibilities

**Financial Leadership and Strategy**

-   Lead the Finance function across all Group entities.
-   Provide strategic financial advice to the CEO/Group CEO, executive management and the Board.
-   Support strategic planning and business decisions through financial analysis and insights.
-   Drive financial efficiency, cost optimisation and sustainable business growth.

**Financial Reporting and Consolidation**

-   Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial and management reports.
-   Prepare consolidated financial statements for the Group.
-   Oversee inter-company accounting and reconciliations across all entities.
-   Ensure the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of financial information.

**Budgeting and Financial Planning**

-   Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and cash flow management.
-   Monitor financial performance against budgets and provide variance analysis.
-   Develop financial forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.

**Compliance, Governance and Risk Management**

-   Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
-   Manage taxation, treasury and working capital.
-   Strengthen financial controls, governance and risk management.
-   Ensure adherence to applicable International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

**Team Leadership and Development**

-   Lead, mentor and develop the Finance team.
-   Establish clear performance expectations and accountability.
-   Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement within the Finance function.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
-   Minimum of 8 years' progressive experience in Finance and Accounting with at least 5 years in a Management or Senior Finance leadership role.
-   Experience working within a Group of Companies comprising multiple legal entities is essential.
-   Demonstrated experience preparing consolidated financial statements.
-   Strong knowledge of IFRS, taxation, budgeting, treasury management, internal controls and financial reporting.
-   Experience managing intercompany transactions and multi-entity financial reporting.
-   Proven leadership and people management skills.
-   Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
-   High integrity, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
-   Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as Sage, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle or similar.
-   Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CA Zambia, CPA or equivalent.
-   Membership with the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA).
