**The Role**

We're looking for a hungry, self-driven SDR to build and own the top of our Southeast Asian sales funnel. You'll be the first point of contact for prospective customers — qualifying inbound leads, running outbound prospecting, and delivering group demos that convert. You'll also play a key role in maintaining and scaling Wati's outbound system, making this role a rare chance to shape how we grow in one of our highest-priority markets.

This role reports to the SEA Sales Lead and works closely with Account Executives to drive pipeline velocity.

**What You'll Do**

-   Qualify inbound leads — engage, score, and route leads to AEs with speed and precision
-   Own outbound prospecting — identify, research, and reach out to target accounts across key Indonesia verticals (e-commerce, retail, fintech, education, F&B)
-   Run group demos — lead scalable product demos for prospect cohorts, articulating Wati's value clearly and compellingly
-   Maintain and improve the outbound system — manage sequences, update CRM hygiene, test messaging, and flag what's working (and what isn't) to continuously improve pipeline quality
-   Collaborate with AEs — hand off qualified opportunities with full context so nothing falls through the cracks
-   Hit your numbers — weekly activity targets, MQL-to-SQL conversion rates, and pipeline contribution goals

## Requirements

**What We're Looking For**

-   1–3 years of experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role (SaaS or tech preferred)
-   Proven track record of hitting outbound or pipeline targets
-   Strong communicator — you can write a cold message that gets replies and run a demo that gets people excited
-   Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) and sales engagement platforms
-   Highly organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment

**Languages (non-negotiable):**

-   Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia

**Bonus if you also speak:**

-   Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, or Cantonese — especially valuable for cross-market collaboration
