**Okie Staffing is seeking a dependable and experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic. This position involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy equipment at active job sites.**

**This is a field-based role, ideal for someone who is confident working independently and comfortable in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.**

### Key Responsibilities

-   Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment in the field
-   Perform maintenance on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components
-   Service equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, and other construction machinery
-   Complete preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
-   Conduct inspections and identify mechanical issues
-   Accurately document repairs and completed work
-   Follow all safety procedures on job sites
-   Work outdoors in heat, sun, and changing weather conditions

## Benefits

### Schedule & Pay

-   Monday–Friday: **8:00 AM – 4:30 PM**
-   Occasional Saturdays based on workload
-   **$22.00 – $25.00/hour**, depending on experience
