## Description

Total Resourcing Ltd is seeking a Manager for Permits and Licensing to lead and oversee all permit and licensing activities within the organization. This key leadership role is responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and managing relationships with regulatory authorities to secure and maintain necessary permits and licenses for operational excellence and legal compliance.

The Manager, Permits and Licensing will coordinate cross-functional teams, develop strategic plans for permit acquisition and renewal, and ensure timely submissions and reporting. This role will work closely with internal departments and external agencies to support business objectives and maintain positive regulatory standing.

## Requirements

### Key Responsibilities:

-   Lead the permits and licensing function, ensuring all operations comply with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
-   Develop and implement strategies for timely acquisition, renewal, and management of permits and licenses.
-   Liaise and build relationships with regulatory authorities and government agencies to facilitate approval processes.
-   Review and approve permit applications, renewals, and documentation.
-   Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and policies impacting permits and licensing requirements and advise relevant stakeholders.
-   Coordinate and support internal departments in the preparation of permits and licensing submissions.
-   Manage a team responsible for permits processing and compliance monitoring.
-   Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on permits status, compliance metrics, and risks.

### Skills and Qualifications:

-   Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Law, or a related field.
-   Minimum 7 years of experience in permits, licensing, regulatory compliance, preferably in industrial, energy, or environmental sectors.
-   Strong knowledge of local, regional, and national regulations related to permits and licensing.
-   Proven leadership and team management skills.
-   Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
-   Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management capabilities.
-   Ability to interpret complex regulations and provide practical guidance.
-   Proficient in relevant software and documentation tools.
-   Fluency in English required.
