## Description

### **Company Overview**

Bloomlife is redesigning maternal care to improve the health of moms and babies.  We partner with healthcare providers to enable high-quality patient-centered care to improve access and enable more efficient screening and management of maternal and fetal health.  Our remote care platform combines connected devices, data analytics, and clinical services. At the center of our platform is a proprietary maternal-fetal monitor designed to remotely assess fetal health.  By addressing modifiable risk factors, quickly detecting abnormalities, and predicting adverse events, Bloomlife aims to ensure every family gets a healthy start.

With a proprietary FDA-cleared fetal monitoring solution, proven reimbursement pathways, and commercial traction with leading healthcare organizations nationally, we’re ready to scale.  Join us in building the market defining remote maternal care platform.

### The Opportunity

We have signed some of the largest OB/GYN care delivery organizations in the country, practices are going live, and we're about to launch our home fetal NST offering. Now we need a proven seller to turn that momentum into scale.

As our Account Executive, you'll own deals end to end, from first conversation to signed contract. Your primary focus is OB/GYN and maternal-fetal medicine practices, with health systems as a secondary focus. You won't start cold: you'll begin with a ready-to-work list of practices inside regional and national contracts that are already signed with Bloomlife, then build a pipeline from there. Once a deal closes, our clinical implementation and operations teams take it to go-live.

This is a field role for a builder. As one of the first members of our commercial team, you'll shape our sales playbook, our messaging, and the launch of a new product line.  You will report to the Chief Commercial Officer and work closely with the CEO to scale our commercial reach.

You must possess a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals selling into women’s health organizations.  You have deep, existing relationships with medical directors, clinical and quality leaders, and C-suite executives at MSOs, health systems, and large private practices.

You will handle the entire sales lifecycle—from initial lead generation to qualification, clinical workflow analysis and agreement —ensuring a seamless handoff to the implementation team for a successful launch.

### Your Responsibilities and Impact will include:

### Build and work the pipeline

- Convert active leads: Turn prospects into active clinic deployments.
- Expand the pipeline: Generate new leads within practices and health systems in your region, prioritizing favorable payer coverage for RPM.
- CRM Discipline: Execute pipeline funnel management and prioritization, including lead tracking and stage assignment and progression, to drive increased velocity of closed deals.
- Relationship Management: Leverage your existing networks of medical directors, clinical and quality leaders, and C-suite executives at MSOs, health systems, and large private practices to secure initial meetings and buy-in.
- Be in the field: Meet clinicians, practice administrators, and nurse leaders in person, and represent Bloomlife at regional and national conferences and events such as ACOG, SMFM, and AWHONN.

### Own the full sales cycle

- Lead Generation: Proactively identify and penetrate new business opportunities within target health systems and practices across your assigned region.
- Lead Qualification: Assess practice size, birth volume, high-risk patient mix, payer mix, EMR, and current standard of care.
- Volume Forecasting: Provide accurate sales, revenue, and volume forecasting for pipeline accounts, giving leadership a reliable view of revenue opportunity.
- Product Demo and Account Map: Deliver compelling product presentations with clinical and financial justifications to both technical and financial stakeholders, identify the operational and clinical champions, find potential blockers in billing and IT, and map the decision process and timeline.
- Win Clinical Committee Approval: Present the clinical and financial case to decision makers, handle objections and competitive questions, and negotiate the contract to close.
- Develop Practices Champions: Develop strong clinical, product and operations champions to drive deal closure and implementation planning.
- Shape the Implementation Plan: Conduct detailed in-department workflow interviews with clinical staff to identify operational bottlenecks and draft the plan to integrate Bloomlife Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) protocols smoothly into existing clinical workflows.
- Implementation Handoff: Ensure a comprehensive, well-documented handoff to the clinical implementation and customer success teams so go-live is fast and the customer's first experience is strong to drive long-term adoption.

### Sell on value

- Build the Business Case: Use our ROI tools to show customers the revenue and capacity they gain by integrating Bloomlife Connects remote care programs
- Introduce the Business Model: Speak confidently about pricing, reimbursement and billing workflows, documentation requirements, payer coverage, and EMR integration; bring in internal experts when needed.
- Introduce New Products and Services: Target pipeline accounts with a long term view to become portfolio partners with current products and services, and potential to adopt home fetal monitoring when it becomes available.
- Closing: Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.

## Requirements

- Progressive strategic account sales experience with significant time in early-stage or high-growth startup environments
- 5+ years of B2B healthcare sales, including a track record of carrying and exceeding a quota as a full-cycle closer.
- Existing relationships with medical practices and health systems in the region.
- Experience selling remote patient monitoring, digital health, connected devices, or medical devices.
- Strong consultative selling skills.
- Solid understanding of healthcare reimbursement (commercial insurance and Medicaid/Medicare) and corresponding medical device billing structures, CPT coding, payer mix, and fee-for-service practice economics.

- Familiarity with EMR integrations and healthcare compliance (HIPAA, SOC2).
- Comfort with technology, strong analytical skills, use of AI tools, strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Hubspot, Salesforce) and key business tools such as Microsoft Suite, Google Workspace, Slack.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Southeast or Southern US base location preferred.
- This position requires approximately 70% travel.

### Our values guide how we sell and how we treat each other:

- Bias toward action: You move deals forward and don't wait for perfect conditions.
- We've got each other's back: You partner closely with clinical implementation, clinical operations, and product to get customers live.
- Power to the people: You put moms, clinicians, and care teams at the center of every conversation.
- Radical candor: You forecast honestly and give direct, caring feedback.

- Bounce back: You treat a lost deal as information and come back sharper.
