## Description

### What is your mission?

We are looking for a **Mechanical Engineer** to support engineering projects through CAD modelling, engineering detailing, Bill of Materials (BOM) generation, manufacturing support, and shop floor coordination. The role involves design for manufacturing (DFM), CAD design, product development, engineering documentation, and ensuring products meet design specifications and manufacturing tolerances while supporting multiple projects simultaneously.

**You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:**

-   Create and maintain CAD models, mechanical drawings, and engineering documentation for various products and systems
-   Generate and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) to support engineering and manufacturing requirements
-   Design products and systems using Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles based on customer requirements
-   Support engineers with drawing detailing, product modifications, and technical documentation updates
-   Prepare shop machines and production requirements for manufacturing activities
-   Ensure products and components comply with specified engineering tolerances, quality standards, and design requirements
-   Coordinate and manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously while maintaining project priorities and deadlines
-   Support shop floor operations through engineering assistance, production coordination, and documentation management
-   Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflow efficiency and support continuous improvement initiatives
-   Contribute to product development activities across various mechanical engineering disciplines
-   Assist in maintaining accurate engineering records, specifications, and manufacturing documentation

## Requirements

### Who are we looking for?

-   Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required
-   Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in CAD modelling and mechanical design
-   Experience within manufacturing, product development, engineering design, or related mechanical engineering environments
-   Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, engineering drawings, and design for manufacturing concepts
-   Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor or similar CAD software
-   Experience creating engineering drawings, BOMs, technical documentation, and manufacturing support materials
-   Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel, with at least 1 year of experience using Microsoft 365
-   Knowledge of Mechanics of Materials, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and engineering dynamics is preferred
-   Familiarity with welding symbols, weld notations, machining tolerances, and engineering drawing standards is an advantage
-   Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems is preferred
-   Strong written and verbal English communication skills
-   Excellent organisational and project coordination abilities with the capability to manage multiple projects concurrently
-   Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
-   Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented engineering environment
-   Proactive mindset with a commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement
