The Occupational Therapist serves as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team, to provide therapeutic recreational and activity services to all patient populations. Facilitates development and rehabilitation of individuals with deficits in emotional and mental well-being as well as developmental/intellectual delays by planning and administering medically prescribed occupational therapy services.

**Shift details:** Full-time 40 hours per week; 8am-4:30pm

**Schedule:** Monday - Friday; 2 weekend days a month

**$7500 Sign on Bonus!!**

-   Develops and implements adjunctive therapy treatment plans in concert with interdisciplinary treatment team.

-   Maintains the clinical and administrative documentation associated with services rendered.
-   Develops and maintains individualized/group milieu programming.
-   Evaluates results of therapy by observing, noting, and evaluating patient’s progress; recommending and implementing adjustments and modifications as needed throughout the treatment team process.
-   Training staff in therapeutic goals for individuals
-   Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to design treatment plans which meet realistic functional goals.
-   Participates in the ongoing implementation of the department’s continuous quality improvement plan.
-   Plans and prepares activities.
-   Performs related duties as requested.
-   Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

## Requirements

-   Masters degree in Occupational Therapy with certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapists (NBCOT)
-   At least 2 Years of experience in working with persons with developmental/intellectual disabilities preferred.
-   Certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Must be 21 years of age, have a current negative TB test or medical clearance and meet qualifications for fingerprint clearance.
-   CPR and CPI Certifications (must be obtained within 30 days of hire).

**Salary Range:** $66,560.00 - $93,600.00
