Job summary

The role is primarily focused on leading and coaching a team of developers in supporting, maintaining and further developing Easy Employer's platform.

**Scope and Magnitude**

• Position has impact on Easy Employer's client base Australia-wide

**Position Functions**

• Coach and lead development team to deliver assigned tasks, functions and larger projects

• Maintain existing software applications, including bug fixes

• Develop major and minor enhancements to software functionality

• Perform testing on existing and developed software applications

• Provide input and leadership on existing and potential software applications and projects

• Communicate Development Team progress against goals and deadlines

• Direct liaison with clients to determine and execute specific individual software requirements

**Working Relationships**

• Report to take direction from and work in conjunction with Software and Technology Director (direction, guidance, policy and procedures)

• Manage, Lead and Coach Junior Developer team

• Work in conjunction with Helpdesk team (technical advice, troubleshooting, client

feedback)

• Communicate directly with clients (deliver software requirements)

## Requirements

Technical & General Skills

• Tertiary qualification(s) at Diploma or degree level or near completion desirable.

-   Qualification(s) should be in IT, Computer Science or similarly related.

• Familiarity with automation and AI-assisted tooling integration (desirable)

• Cloud platforms and infrastructure management (AWS, EC2, S3, Fargate)

• CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)

• Containerisation and orchestration – Elastic Beanstalk, Docker, Kubernetes

(optional)

• Version control systems – GitHub, GitLab

• Database management – Microsoft SQL
