**About the Role:** Catering Sales Manager

As our Catering Sales Manager, you will play an integral role in delivering an exceptional guest experience while contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

This role is ideal for someone who brings a passion for hospitality, takes ownership, and is committed to continuous improvement and results.

**Your Impact**

You will support day-to-day operations, support team performance, and ensure service standards are consistently delivered. You’ll act as a bridge between leadership and frontline teams—driving accountability, engagement, and results.

Responsibilities

-   Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives to grow catering revenue, increase market share, and achieve established sales goals.

-   Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, wedding coordinators, and community partners to generate repeat and new business.
-   Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, prospecting, and client engagement.
-   Partner with Operations, Banquets, Culinary, and Revenue Management teams to ensure seamless event planning, execution, and exceptional guest experiences.
-   Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and prepare regular reports and forecasts for senior leadership to support business decisions.
-   Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members, fostering professional development and promoting best practices in sales, customer service, and product knowledge.
-   Conduct site inspections, prepare proposals and contracts, and negotiate catering agreements that align with hotel revenue objectives.
-   Represent the hotel at industry events, networking functions, and community organizations to strengthen brand

**Technical / Role-Specific Requirements**

-   Previous experience as a Hotel Sales Manager, Catering Sales Manager, or in a related hospitality sales role.
-   Strong understanding of hotel operations and the collaboration required between Sales, Catering, Culinary, Banquets, Front Office, and other departments.
-   Proven ability to generate new business, build lasting client relationships, and successfully close sales.
-   Experience conducting property tours and site inspections to showcase event spaces and hotel amenities.
-   Skilled in preparing accurate proposals, contracts, and pricing using basic mathematical and budgeting principles.
-   Excellent customer service skills with the ability to anticipate client needs, resolve concerns, and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
-   Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively in English.
-   Professional, polished demeanor with outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
-   Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple events, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
-   Excellent follow-up, time management, and organizational skills to ensure seamless event planning and execution.
-   Strong listening, negotiation, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
-   Collaborative team player who thrives in a team-oriented sales environment while achieving individual sales goals.
-   Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and special events as business needs require.
-   Ability to perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives.

**Education**

-   High school diploma or equivalent required
-   Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
