## Description

### **Position Overview:**

Pro Med Healthcare Services is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor & Delivery to provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns during the labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. This role demands clinical expertise, compassionate patient interaction, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic environment.

-   Start: ASAP
-   Duration: 13 weeks
-   Shift: Nights 6:30p-7a
-   2+ years’ experience required
-   ACLS, BLS, NRP 
-   Estimated Pay Package $2400 ( including stipend)

### **Key Responsibilities:**

-   Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs closely throughout labor and delivery.
-   Assist obstetricians and midwives during delivery and related procedures.
-   Provide emotional support and education to expectant mothers and their families.
-   Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records.
-   Respond promptly to emergencies, implementing necessary interventions.
-   Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.

## Requirements

-   Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the practicing state.
-   Minimum one year experience in Labor & Delivery nursing preferred.
-   Current certifications in BLS, ACLS required; NRP certification highly desirable.
-   Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities.
-   Ability to perform effectively in high-stress, fast-paced environments.
-   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.
-   Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
