**ABOUT THE ROLE**

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its Medical Oncology, Systemic Cancer Therapy, Multidisciplinary Oncology, and Survivorship Services and is seeking an experienced Consultant Medical Oncologist to join its growing clinical team.

**ROLE OVERVIEW**

The successful candidate will provide consultant-level Medical Oncology and comprehensive cancer care within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment supported by experienced consultants, oncology nurses, allied health professionals, and modern diagnostic and treatment infrastructure.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

-   Diagnose, stage, and manage patients with solid tumours and selected haematological malignancies according to clinical scope and expertise.
-   Develop personalised cancer treatment plans based on current clinical guidelines and multidisciplinary recommendations.
-   Prescribe and administer systemic cancer therapies, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, hormonal therapy, and supportive oncology treatments.
-   Monitor treatment response, manage treatment-related toxicities and complications, and coordinate ongoing follow-up and survivorship care.
-   Provide clear and compassionate counselling regarding diagnosis, prognosis, treatment options, goals of care, fertility preservation, treatment risks, and survivorship.
-   Participate in multidisciplinary tumour boards with Surgical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Pathology, Radiology, Haematology, and Palliative Care teams.
-   Coordinate comprehensive cancer care across diagnosis, active treatment, follow-up, and survivorship.
-   Support oncology protocols, medication safety, clinical governance, audits, quality improvement, and evidence-based cancer care.

## Requirements

Applications are welcome from internationally trained Consultant Medical Oncologists holding recognised specialist qualifications such as:

-   American Board of Internal Medicine – Medical Oncology
-   UK CCT / MRCP with recognised Medical Oncology training
-   European Board / National Specialist Recognition in Medical Oncology
-   Royal College Certification (Canada)
-   Australian FRACP
-   Arab Board in Medical Oncology
-   DM / DNB / FCPS or equivalent recognised specialist qualification in Medical Oncology
