## Description

We are seeking an experienced **Consultant Neurosurgeon** to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The successful candidate will provide advanced neurosurgical care for a wide range of complex conditions involving the brain, spine, and peripheral nervous system. This role requires strong expertise in both elective and emergency neurosurgical procedures, with a commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based patient care within a multidisciplinary tertiary care environment.

### **Key Responsibilities**

-   Diagnose and manage complex neurosurgical conditions involving the brain, spine, and nervous system.
-   Perform advanced elective and emergency neurosurgical procedures.
-   Manage trauma-related neurosurgical emergencies, including head and spinal injuries.
-   Perform cranial, spinal, and minimally invasive neurosurgical interventions.
-   Conduct comprehensive pre-operative evaluations and post-operative care.
-   Interpret neuroimaging and diagnostic studies to guide clinical decision-making.
-   Collaborate with neurology, ICU, anesthesia, radiology, and rehabilitation teams.
-   Provide leadership in neurosurgical care pathways and clinical decision-making.
-   Participate in morbidity & mortality meetings, audits, and clinical governance activities.
-   Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection control, and quality standards.
-   Contribute to training, supervision, and mentoring of junior medical staff.

## Requirements

-   MBBS or equivalent medical qualification from a recognized institution.
-   Postgraduate qualification in Neurosurgery (FRCS Neurosurgery, Board Certification, CCT, Arab Board, or equivalent).
-   Minimum **5 years post-specialization experience**.
-   Strong expertise in cranial, spinal, and trauma neurosurgery.
-   Proven experience in both open and minimally invasive neurosurgical techniques.
-   Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
-   Strong leadership and multidisciplinary collaboration abilities.
-   Experience in a tertiary or high-volume hospital setting preferred.
-   Excellent communication and patient management skills.
