## Description

**Physical Therapist**

**Location:** Fort Myers, Florida  
**Compensation:** $88,000–$90,000 annually, based on experience  
**Schedule:** Monday–Friday | 9 AM–5 PM  
**Clinical Setting:** Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapy  
**Expected Patient Volume:** 1–2 patients per hour

**Physical Therapist Job Overview**

We are recruiting a **licensed Physical Therapist** for a full-time outpatient orthopedic position in Fort Myers, FL.

The PT will provide one-on-one clinical care to patients dealing with orthopedic injuries, post-surgical recovery, pain, reduced mobility, and other musculoskeletal concerns. You will be responsible for evaluating function, setting rehabilitation goals, delivering treatment, and measuring patient progress over time.

This is a weekday position with regular daytime hours and a steady outpatient schedule.

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Conduct initial physical therapy evaluations
-   Assess strength, mobility, range of motion, balance, and functional limitations
-   Establish patient-specific rehabilitation goals
-   Create appropriate physical therapy plans of care
-   Deliver therapeutic exercises and hands-on treatment techniques
-   Guide patients through recovery following orthopedic injuries or procedures
-   Reassess patients and make clinical adjustments as needed
-   Provide instructions for home-based exercises
-   Record treatments, outcomes, and progress in patient records

## Requirements

-   Valid **Physical Therapist License**
-   Graduate of a **DPT or MSPT program**
-   **Outpatient physical therapy experience required**
-   Understanding of orthopedic physical therapy treatment
-   Comfortable managing a consistent outpatient caseload
