## Description

**Agency Vaccinator Nurse / LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) – $37 per hour (Weekly Pay / Every Friday)**

**Location:** Greater Jacksonville Area  
**Base Pay:** **$37 / hour**  
**Overtime Pay:** **$55.50 / hour**  
**Schedule:** 9AM to 5PM

### Responsibilities

-   **Administer Vaccines:** Give intramuscular or subcutaneous injections for routine or seasonal vaccines (such as flu, COVID-19, or MMR).
-   **Screen Patients:** Review medical history and check for allergies or contraindications before giving a shot.
-   **Monitor Reactions:** Watch patients for 15 to 30 minutes post-vaccination to catch and treat any immediate allergic reactions or anaphylaxis.
-   **Patient Education:** Explain vaccine benefits, answer safety questions, and discuss common side effects to ease patient concerns.
-   **Documentation:** Log each dose accurately into electronic health records (EHR) or state immunization registries.
-   **Cold Chain Management:** Handle and store vials at precise temperatures to keep vaccines effective.

## Requirements

-   Completed practical nursing program from an accredited institution.
-   Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
-   Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
-   Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient-centered care.
-   Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
