**Location: 647 2nd Ave, New York, NY 10016**

**Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour**

**Job Responsibilities**

Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service while answering questions about baked goods and menu items

Operate POS systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently

Upsell bakery items by recommending popular products and promoting specials to maximize sales opportunities

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by regularly cleaning counters, utensils, and food handling areas in compliance with food safety regulations

Restock shelves, display cases, and storage areas to ensure product availability throughout shifts

Assist with marketing strategy and paid promotions

  

**Experience**

Previous experience in food service or retail environments is preferred, especially within quick service or fast food restaurants

Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast and third-party delivery apps

Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods

Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures

Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and ability to upsell products confidently

## Requirements

Must be able to work at least one scheduled full weekday shift (i.e., ~10:30am to 7:30pm) with opportunities for additional weekly shifts

Must be able to transport up to 50 lbs of ingredients and packaging from storage to food production areas

Food Protection License or willingness to obtain preferred
