## Description

K&S Tire Recycling in Chicago Heights, IL is hiring Class D Drivers for local tire collection routes. Drivers must safely operate assigned vehicles AND physically collect and load tires at customer locations.

**Responsibilities:**

-   Safely operate assigned company vehicles
-   Complete scheduled customer pickup routes
-   Manually load and unload used tires
-   Roll, lift, carry and stack tires onto trucks
-   Organize tires to maximize safe truck capacity
-   Verify and document quantities collected
-   Perform vehicle inspections
-   Obtain customer signatures and required photos
-   Communicate route/customer issues to dispatch
-   Maintain a clean and organized vehicle

**This is not a driving-only job. Manual tire loading is required.**

## Requirements

-   Valid driver's license appropriate for assigned vehicle
-   Previous experience driving 16 foot box truck or van
-   Acceptable driving record
-   Ability to repeatedly lift and handle tires up to 50 lbs.
-   Willingness to manually load tires throughout the workday
-   Ability to perform repetitive bending, lifting, pushing and pulling
-   Ability to work outdoors in varying weather
-   Dependable attendance and punctuality
-   Professional customer-service skills
