Registered Nurse (Travel) - PCU - Winston-Salem, NC

VitalHire is hiring a travel Registered Nurse (PCU) for an acute care hospital in Winston-Salem, NC.

Contract details

\- Weekly pay: $2,141/wk

\- Stipend: includes a housing and meals stipend of up to $1,267/wk where eligible (GSA FY2027 max for this location)

\- Shift: Night (3x12 Hours) 18:45 7:15

\- Duration: 13 weeks

\- Start date: 11/2/2026, 11/9/2026

\- Openings: 2

About the assignment

\- Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years REQUIRED

\- Traveler Experience: Unit WILL ACCEPT 1st time traveler.

\- Certs: ACLS, BLS

\- Certs: NIHSS

\- Target Ratios: 1:4-5 (Mixed acuity unit with PCU and MS/Tele patients) In extreme situations the unit will go to a 1:6 ratio.

\- Float Requirement: required to float to like units.

\- Overtime: 40 total hours in 1 week: 1%

Requirements

\- Active RN license for NC (compact accepted where applicable) and the PCU specialty

\- 2+ years of recent PCU experience

\- BLS and ACLS
