## Description

We are seeking an experienced **Staff Accountant** with a strong background in healthcare accounting. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in **general ledger accounting, balance sheet reconciliation, accrual accounting, and financial reporting**, preferably within the healthcare industry.

### **Key Responsibilities**

-   Manage and maintain the **general ledger** and ensure accurate financial records.
-   Perform **balance sheet reconciliations** and resolve discrepancies promptly.
-   Handle **accrual accounting** and prepare month-end journal entries.
-   Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
-   Prepare financial statements and supporting reports.
-   Analyze financial data and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
-   Support audits and provide required financial documentation.
-   Collaborate with operations and management teams regarding financial reporting and analysis.

## Requirements

\-Proven experience as a **Staff Accountant**.

\- Strong knowledge of **general ledger, balance sheet reconciliation, and accrual accounting**.

\-Experience in the **healthcare industry** is strongly preferred, including work with:

-   Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF)
-   Assisted Living Operators
-   Home Health Agencies
-   Healthcare Operators
