## Description

The **Business Development Manager for our clients a shipping companies and** will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, developing client relationships, and expanding the company's footprint within the maritime industry. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong market knowledge and excellent communication skills to engage key maritime clients and deliver tailored solutions that meet their needs.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the maritime sector to expand the company's client base.
-   Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including shipping companies, shipping clients, and maritime service providers.
-   Develop and execute strategic business development plans aligned with company objectives.
-   Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, marketing, and technical departments to create customized proposals and solutions.
-   Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay informed on industry trends and client needs.
-   Negotiate contracts and close deals to maximize revenue and profitability.
-   Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
-   Prepare regular reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and market insights.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's degree in Business, Maritime Studies, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
-   5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the maritime or shipping industry.
-   Proven track record of successfully developing and closing business opportunities.
-   Strong understanding of maritime industry dynamics, regulations, and client challenges.
-   Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
-   Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
-   Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
