## Description

**Overview**  
  
Heritage Home Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and dependable **Senior Caregiver** to join our team! Our caregivers make a meaningful difference every day by helping clients maintain their independence, comfort, and quality of life in the place they call home.

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Assist with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating
-   Follow prescribed healthcare plans
-    Provide mobility assistance (e.g., transfers from bed, chair, or wheelchair)
-   Maintain a clean and safe home environment by assisting with light housekeeping
-   Offer emotional support, companionship, and encouragement to clients
-   Escort or transport clients to appointments or errands as needed
-   Monitor and report changes in clients’ health, behavior, or needs to the clinical team
-   Adhere to all care plans and delegation instructions provided by licensed professionals

**Qualifications:**

-   Must be at least 18 years of age
-   Must be available to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
-   High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
-   Previous caregiving experience preferred
-   Must be able to work independently and follow instructions accurately
-   Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-   Reliable independent transportation and valid car insurance
-   Must live in Santa Fe, NM or surrounding areas
