**Float Medical Receptionist | Outpatient | Full-time | 5320 Peters Creek Road, Suite C, Roanoke, VA 24019**

H2 Health is seeking a full-time **Float Medical Receptionist / Patient Coordinator** to join our outpatient therapy clinic in Roanoke, VA. This role supports daily front office operations and helps ensure a positive, efficient experience for every patient.

This position is responsible for patient scheduling, front desk operations, insurance verification, and administrative support in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment.

Your Role:

-   Greet patients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
-   Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
-   Answer phones and assist with patient inquiries
-   Verify insurance benefits and obtain authorizations as needed
-   Collect co-pays and maintain accurate patient records
-   Enter and update information in EMR systems
-   Support daily clinic operations and coordinate with clinical staff

## Requirements

-   High school diploma or equivalent required

-   Previous experience in a medical office, outpatient clinic, or front desk role preferred
-   Strong communication and customer service skills
-   Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
-   Experience with insurance verification and scheduling preferred
-   Basic computer and data entry skills required
