Crown is a leading specialist contractor delivering roofing, cladding, and façade solutions across Ireland, the UK, and mainland Europe. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced **Health & Safety Advisor** to join our expanding team.

This role will initially be based on a project in **Bray**, with long-term opportunities across the **Dublin region**. Working alongside project managers, site teams, subcontractors, and clients, you will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and compliance across our projects.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Promote and champion a positive health and safety culture across all site activities.
-   Ensure compliance with Irish health and safety legislation, client requirements, and Crown's Health & Safety Management System.
-   Carry out regular site inspections, audits, and safety observations, identifying risks and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
-   Review and monitor Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), and safe systems of work.
-   Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety briefings.
-   Support project teams with planning works safely and proactively identifying potential hazards.
-   Monitor subcontractor compliance with project health and safety requirements.
-   Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, producing reports and implementing corrective actions.
-   Maintain accurate health and safety documentation and project records.
-   Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities on health and safety matters.
-   Provide practical advice and support to site management teams, driving continuous improvement.
-   Assist with internal and external audits while supporting the ongoing development of Crown's health and safety standards.

## Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

-   Previous experience working as a Health & Safety Advisor within the construction industry.
-   Experience on roofing, cladding, façade, structural steel, or main contractor projects is highly desirable.
-   A thorough understanding of Irish health and safety legislation and best practice.
-   Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence safe working behaviours.
-   Experience carrying out site inspections, audits, incident investigations, and producing detailed reports.
-   Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
-   A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to work independently.
-   Full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel between project locations within the Dublin region.
