## Description

We are seeking an autonomous, highly experienced **Medical Virtual Assistant & Scribe** to support our fast-paced Rheumatology, Internal Medicine, and Telemedicine practices.

**Please Note:** This is _not_ an entry-level position, and we do not have the bandwidth for foundational training. We require a seasoned professional with a **minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on medical scribing experience** and **fluent, day-one competency in eClinicalWorks (eCW)**. If you do not have direct, practical experience navigating eCW, managing charts, and handling orders within a live clinical workflow, please do not apply. We are looking for a candidate who can confidently contribute to our team from week one.

## Requirements

### Must-Have Qualifications

-   **Experience:** Minimum of 2–3 years of verifiable, hands-on medical scribing experience in a live clinical environment.
-   **EMR Mastery:** Absolute proficiency in **eClinicalWorks (eCW)** is a mandatory prerequisite. You must already know how to navigate the system competently without supervision.
-   **Language & Communication:** Exceptional written and verbal English skills, with a flawless grasp of complex medical terminology.
-   **Working Style:** Highly reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision once oriented to our provider preferences.

### Roles and Responsibilities

### 1\. Live & Asynchronous Clinical Scribing

-   Execute high-accuracy, real-time, and asynchronous medical scribing for specialized Rheumatology, Internal Medicine, and Telemedicine encounters.
-   Capture and document History of Present Illness (HPI), Review of Systems (ROS), Physical Examinations, Assessments, and detailed Treatment Plans (A&P) exactly as directed by the provider.
-   Generate precise follow-up notes and ensure all documentation captures the nuances of complex chronic care.

### 2\. EMR Navigation & Chart Management (eClinicalWorks)

-   Independently navigate eCW to manage, update, and organize patient charts seamlessly during live clinical workflows.
-   Build, utilize, and modify eCW templates and shortcut commands to optimize documentation speed and quality.
-   Perform meticulous pre-visit chart preparation and comprehensive reviews of patient histories prior to encounters.

### 3\. Clinical Order & Administrative Routing

-   Input and manage medical orders, laboratory requests, imaging requisitions, and specialist referrals directly within eCW.
-   Track outstanding routine documentation tasks within the EMR to ensure no chart is left incomplete.
-   Collaborate efficiently with the clinic's internal team through clear digital correspondence to ensure continuity of care.

### 4\. Quality & Compliance Assurance

-   Maintain a gold standard of accuracy, clarity, and professionalism across all medical charts.
-   Adhere strictly to HIPAA guidelines, data privacy standards, and patient confidentiality protocols at all times.
