**Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) (Full-Time or Part-Time)**  
**Location: Pinecrest Animal Hospital – Owosso, MI**

Our team is known for delivering high-quality care using advanced diagnostics and treatments—including ultrasound, echocardiography, full in-house lab work, laser therapy, and a wide range of surgical procedures from routine to complex.

Our story began in 1953 with Dr. Jerry Fries, a legendary mixed animal practitioner who served his community with dedication—even making house calls by plane and motorcycle! Since then, the hospital has evolved under compassionate, forward-thinking leadership, and today we continue that legacy of excellence under Dr. Pritpal Rangi.

**What You’ll Be Doing:**

As a **Licensed Veterinary Technician,** you’ll be a vital part of our clinical team. Key responsibilities include:

-   Triage, admit, and assist in treating patients
-   Support doctors in surgery and anesthesia monitoring
-   Perform dental cleanings and take digital radiographs
-   Collect and process lab samples (blood, urine, etc.)
-   Educate clients on treatments and at-home care
-   Communicate discharge instructions clearly and professionally
-   Help maintain hospital cleanliness and organization
-   Occasionally support front desk duties if needed  
    

**What We’re Looking For:**

-   Licensed Veterinary Technician or equivalent experience
-   2+ year of experience preferred
-   Comfortable and experienced with anesthesia and surgical prep
-   Able to restrain animals safely and lift large dogs
-   Skilled at multitasking in a fast-paced environment
-   Positive, team-oriented attitude and great communication skills
-   Eagerness to grow and learn new skills  
    

**Compensation & Benefits:**

-   **Hourly pay: $23.00 – $25.00, based on experience**

**Schedule:**

-   Full-time (8–10 hour shifts)
-   Hospital is open Monday - Saturday, must have open availability on Saturday
-   No Sunday hours
