## Description

We are seeking an experienced **Wintel Engineer** to support and manage enterprise Windows infrastructure in a large-scale operational environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the availability, performance, security, and recovery readiness of Windows server platforms while supporting virtualization, backup, monitoring, and disaster recovery initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Implement, administer, and maintain Windows Server infrastructure.
-   Troubleshoot and resolve Windows OS incidents, problems, and performance issues.
-   Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and support problem management activities.
-   Manage Active Directory, Group Policies (GPOs), and user administration.
-   Support VMware and Hyper-V virtualized environments.
-   Administer Windows Clustering and ensure high availability of critical systems.
-   Manage server patching, security hardening, backup, and recovery processes.
-   Monitor system performance, capacity utilization, and infrastructure health.
-   Support Disaster Recovery (DR) planning, testing, and execution.
-   Work with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve infrastructure issues.
-   Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and system configurations.

## Requirements

-   Minimum **3 to 5 years of experience** in Windows Server administration and enterprise infrastructure support.

-   Strong knowledge of **Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft Clustering**.
-   Hands-on experience with **VMware vSphere** and/or **Hyper-V** environments.
-   Experience managing enterprise backup solutions such as **NetBackup** or **Backup Exec**.
-   Familiarity with server patching, security hardening, monitoring, and disaster recovery processes.
-   Knowledge of SAN Storage and enterprise server hardware would be advantageous.
-   ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent operational experience preferred.
-   Basic scripting or automation experience will be an added advantage.
-   Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
-   Ability to work independently in a customer-facing enterprise environment.

**Preferred Background**

-   Experience working in Managed Services environments.
-   Exposure to Government, Banking, or large enterprise infrastructure environments.
-   Experience supporting mission-critical systems with strict SLA requirements
