## Description

**Phoenix Home Care and Hospice is currently seeking an After-hours On-Call Coordinator for the St. Louis, Mo area.**

Hours for this position are Monday-Friday 5pm-8am and all-day Saturday and Sunday.  Various call rotation options available.  This position covers after hours on-call outside of our regular Monday-Friday 8am-5pm business hours. 

**The position is remote but candidate must live in St. Louis or the surrounding area.** The ideal candidate will have the ability to handle high pressure situations, think fast on your feet, and triage calls based on importance. Good organizational skills and the ability to address sensitive subjects with tact and compassion is also very important.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

-   Answering any after-hours messages sent by the answering service
-   Making sure that any issues such as client/employee complaints, workers comp, or call offs are address properly

-   Calling available employees regarding open shifts in an attempt to re-staff them, along with informing clients of all changes
-   Rerouting any incoming messages for a HH client to the HH nurse/admin on call as appropriate
-   Must have internet access and good cell reception at location where they would be working

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES**

-   Familiar with medical terminology and paperwork.
-   Must have a minimum basic knowledge of keyboarding, personal computers, and Microsoft Office (including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook).
-   Must be strong in customer service
-   Must have a strong phone etiquette with the ability to communicate well; both verbally and in writing.
-   Must be reliable, have a great attitude, and possess a strong work-ethic.
-   Must be detailed, accurate, organized and have the ability to multi-task.

-   Education / Licensure: Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
-   Experience: Minimum one (1) year experience in general office setting.
