## Description

**Job Opening: Chief Accountant**

We are seeking a seasoned and detail-oriented **Chief Accountant** to lead our financial operations. The ideal candidate will combine robust technical accounting expertise with strong leadership capabilities to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and strategic oversight.

## Requirements

-   **Education:**

-   Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from an accredited institution.
-   Master’s degree or professional postgraduate qualification is strongly preferred.

-   **Professional Certifications:**

-   Active or partial professional credentials such as **CPA, ACCA, or CMA** are highly desirable.

-   **Professional Experience:**

-   Minimum of **5 to 10 years** of progressive accounting experience.
-   At least **3 years** serving in a Chief Accountant or similar supervisory/leadership capacity.

-   **Technical & Soft Skills:**

-   Advanced proficiency in **Odoo ERP** or other reputable accounting software packages.
-   Comprehensive knowledge of **IFRS** and local statutory regulations, laws, and compliance standards.
-   Proven expertise in executing efficient monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial close processes.
-   Ability to prepare, analyze, and present comprehensive management reports to executive leadership to support strategic decision-making.
-   Hands-on experience in managing and filing compliance returns, including VAT (Value Added Tax) and WHT (Withholding Tax), in alignment with statutory deadlines and local tax regulations.
