📍 Location: Abu Dhabi

A leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced **Consultant Emergency Medicine** to join its Emergency Medicine team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality emergency care, manage critically ill and complex patients, and contribute to clinical excellence and patient safety.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Assess, diagnose, stabilize, and manage patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
-   Provide timely treatment for acute and life-threatening medical and surgical conditions.
-   Lead the management of critically ill and trauma patients, including resuscitation.
-   Perform and supervise emergency procedures within the scope of practice.
-   Coordinate patient care with specialists, inpatient teams, intensive care, and other departments.
-   Ensure accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation.
-   Participate in emergency department protocols, quality improvement, and patient-safety initiatives.
-   Provide clinical guidance and supervision to junior physicians and medical staff.
-   Participate in teaching, training, and continuing professional development activities.
-   Maintain compliance with DOH regulations, hospital policies, and applicable clinical standards.

## Requirements

### **Qualifications**

-   Medical degree from an accredited institution.
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Emergency Medicine**.
-   Eligibility for or a valid **DOH Abu Dhabi Consultant licence**.
-   Relevant post-specialization clinical experience appropriate for Consultant level.
-   Strong experience in emergency and acute care medicine.
-   Current Good Standing Certificate and verifiable professional credentials.
-   Excellent clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.
-   Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, multidisciplinary Emergency Department
