## Description

**Senior/Lead Backend Engineer (Product/ System/ SaaS/ PaaS)**

  

We are currently looking for a strong **Backend Engineer** with solid architectural understanding and hands-on development experience. You will play a key role in designing and developing sophisticated SaaS/PaaS applications that prioritize performance, usability, and accessibility, and building & leading your own team in the Vietnam office.

**Responsibilities:**

-   Develop and maintain robust, high-performing microservices using Java Spring Boot.
-   Design and implement scalable and distributed solutions to meet complex business requirements.
-   Utilize PostgreSQL for database management and integration within services.
-   Create and manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments using Kubernetes (K8S).
-   Work collaboratively with stakeholders to analyze requirements, propose solutions, and ensure alignment with business goals.
-   Develop comprehensive testing strategies, including unit and integration testing, to ensure reliable and secure applications.
-   Ensure code quality and maintainability by following best practices and conducting regular code reviews.

  

**Requirements:**

-   7+ years of experience in software development
-   Strong **Java and Spring Boot** experience
-   Strong software architecture understanding
-   Experience with distributed systems / microservice architectures
-   Good understanding of containerized environments **(Docker/Kubernetes)**
-   **PostgreSQL** or other relational database experience
-   Experience designing scalable backend systems and APIs
-   Ability to work across backend and infrastructure topics when needed
-   **Experience building** **SaaS/PaaS products**.
-   Familiarity with AI/LLM-related technologies is a plus
-   Experience with DevOps, cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, or platform engineering is a strong advantage
