## Description

**Mandate**

Reporting to the Continuous Improvement Manager, the Continuous Improvement Associate supports initiatives that improve how departments work. The associate works with employees and managers to document processes, identify inefficiencies, recommend practical improvements, and follow through on implementation and results.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**

• Work with employees and managers to understand current processes, pain points, and business needs.

• Map current and proposed processes, identifying bottlenecks, duplicate work, and opportunities to simplify tasks.

• Collect and analyze data to understand issues, support recommendations, and measure improvement results.

• Prepare and maintain standard operating procedures, process maps, and supporting documentation.

• Help turn approved improvements into action plans with clear owners, timelines, and deliverables.

• Track actions in project management tools, follow up on assignments, and escalate delays or unresolved issues.

• Coordinate working sessions, document decisions, and communicate progress and next steps to stakeholders.

• Support testing, employee training, and implementation of updated processes and tools; follow up to confirm changes are working.

**Requirements**

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.

• 1–2 years of experience in continuous improvement, process improvement, project coordination, business analysis, or a related field.

• Strong process and technical mindset, with the ability to understand how workflows, systems, and data connect and identify practical improvements.

• Experience documenting processes or procedures and using data to identify and resolve problems.

• Experience working within project management tools to track tasks, deadlines, and progress.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Familiarity with process mapping, Lean, or other continuous improvement methods is an asset.

**What You Offer**

• Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to ask questions and explain processes simply.

• Strong organization and attention to detail, with consistent follow-up across multiple priorities.

• An analytical and curious approach: you break down processes, question how things work, and investigate root causes.

• Initiative and accountability: you work independently, raise issues early, and follow tasks through to completion.

• The ability to translate business needs into clear process and system requirements and work with technical teams on solutions.
