## Description

**About TaskForce**

TaskForce builds capacity and community for the most influential nonprofits, brands, and people taking on the most pressing challenges facing our state, our nation, and our world.

Over the past decade, we’ve powered culturally resonant social impact campaigns — from political moments like Hotties for Harris and the Hope Campaign, to national youth movements like March for Our Lives, to civic initiatives such as LA vs. Hate and Safer at Work. We’ve activated for brands like T-Mobile, MTV, and YouTube, and are recognized as one of the largest producers of public art in the country.

Our work sits at the intersection of culture, politics, creativity, and community — and increasingly, that includes wearable and collectible culture. What people wear, carry, post, and share is how movements become visible.

**Role Overview**

We are seeking a seasoned Graphic Designer with deep experience executing bold, strategic design-forward campaigns. This role sits at the intersection of design, storytelling, and public engagement, creating work that not only looks exceptional but drives action and shapes public perception. You will partner with strategists, producers, and campaign leads to translate complex ideas into visually powerful creative across print, digital, environmental, experiential, and event-based touchpoints.

This is an opportunity to work on high-visibility campaigns, major public activations, experiences, events, and creative moments that influence conversations and participation at scale.

This is a hybrid role with standard hours of Monday - Friday, 9am-6pm, and requires in-office days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at our Prospect Heights office in Brooklyn.

## Requirements

- **Lead Visual Strategy & Creative Execution**
Drive concept development and execution of visual design that strengthens campaign narratives for elections, advocacy, and civic engagement — across digital, print, out-of-home, event environments, and experiential installations.

- **High-Impact Campaign Support**
Produce compelling design work for high-stakes moments including rapid response actions, voter outreach, public awareness campaigns, social impact initiatives, and coalition-driven activations, with an understanding of the political/cultural context.

- **Experiential & Event Design**
Design graphics and environmental elements for large-scale experiences, live events, brand activations, rally materials, outdoor installations, and immersive campaign touchpoints that engage diverse audiences.

- **Cross-Functional Collaboration**
Partner with strategists, content creators, producers, digital teams, partners, and vendors to ensure cohesive visual storytelling that aligns with strategic objectives.

- **Design Production & Quality Assurance**
Manage asset production from concept through delivery, including file prep, production specs, vendor coordination, and quality control for print, digital, environmental, and spatial graphics.

- **Brand Stewardship & Visual Systems**
Define and maintain brand standards, visual guidelines, and creative systems that ensure consistency and excellence across high-visibility campaign assets.

**Qualifications & Experience**

- Experience: 6–10+ years of graphic design experience including branding, typography, layout, compositing, and illustration across both digital and print.
- Design Leadership: Proven track record of leading complex design projects from conception to production with excellent attention to detail and cross-discipline coordination.
- Technical Skills: Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Figma or equivalent; strong understanding of production processes for print, digital, and environmental graphics.
- Creative Thinking: Ability to interpret strategy and narrative goals into bold visual work that fuels impact and resonates emotionally with diverse audiences.
- Culture & Mission Fit: Commitment to social impact work, equity in public engagement, and campaigns that advance participation, awareness, or justice.

**What Success Looks Like**

- Campaign visuals that elevate storytelling and drive measurable engagement.
- Cohesive, scalable design systems used across digital, field, and experiential activations.
- Seamless execution of high-profile events, public experiences, and campaign moments.
- Mentoring and inspiration of design peers and collaborators.

## Benefits
