### Yard & Warehouse Laborer – Tire Recycling

**K&S Tire Recycling** is hiring dependable, hardworking individuals to join our yard and warehouse team in **Chicago Heights, IL**.

This is a **hands-on, physically demanding position** for someone who is comfortable working in an industrial environment and wants steady work with an established, growing company.

### What You’ll Do

As a Yard & Warehouse Laborer, you will help keep tires and other recyclable materials moving safely and efficiently throughout our facility.

**Daily responsibilities include:**

-   Load and unload tires from trucks, trailers, and containers
-   Move tires by hand and with hand trucks/dollies
-   Sort, stack, organize, and stage tires
-   Grade and inspect used tires based on condition and quality
-   Move and sort other scrap and recyclable materials
-   Maintain organized tire and material storage areas
-   Assist with general warehouse and yard operations
-   Perform general cleanup and housekeeping throughout the facility
-   Work safely around forklifts, loaders, trucks, conveyors, and other moving industrial machinery
-   Follow company safety procedures and supervisor instructions
-   Perform other general labor duties as needed

## Requirements

### Physical Requirements

This is an **active, physical job**. Applicants must be able to:

-   Regularly lift, carry, push, and move materials weighing **up to 50 lbs.**
-   Handle and move tires repeatedly throughout the workday
-   Stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift for extended periods
-   Work both indoors and outdoors
-   Work in varying temperatures and weather conditions
-   Work safely in an active industrial environment around moving vehicles and machinery

Minimum 1 year warehouse, tire, recycling, automotive, construction, landscaping, manufacturing, or general labor experience is required.
