## Description

Mercier Consultancy is currently seeking a motivated German Content Moderation Specialist to join our team in Sofia, Bulgaria, offering a fully funded relocation package. This represents an excellent opportunity for professionals dedicated to fostering safe and engaging online communities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and moderating user-generated content, ensuring adherence to community guidelines, and enhancing the overall user experience across multiple platforms.

Proficiency in German, along with a thorough understanding of its cultural subtleties, is essential for effectively supporting and managing our German-speaking audience. As a valued member of our committed team, you will work collaboratively with fellow moderators and stakeholders to maintain the highest standards of content moderation.

### Responsibilities

-   Moderate and review user-generated content in German to ensure compliance with community guidelines
-   Identify, document, and escalate violations or inappropriate content
-   Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for community engagement and risk mitigation
-   Stay updated on trends within the German online community and moderation best practices
-   Provide feedback to improve moderation tools and procedures
-   Maintain a positive and respectful community environment

## Requirements

-   Fluency in German and English (written and spoken) is required.
-   Strong understanding of German language, culture, and online communication norms.
-   Experience in content moderation, community management, or trust & safety roles preferred.
-   Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
-   Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
-   Willingness to relocate to Sofia, Bulgaria; full relocation package provided.
