## Description

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented **Audiology Assistant** to support our hearing care team in providing excellent patient service. The ideal candidate will assist with day-to-day clinic operations, patient preparation, hearing care services, scheduling, and administrative tasks while creating a welcoming experience for every patient.

### **Responsibilities**

-   Welcome patients and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
-   Prepare patients for hearing evaluations and appointments.
-   Assist audiologists and hearing care professionals with routine clinical activities as permitted by applicable regulations.
-   Perform basic hearing-related support tasks and equipment preparation.
-   Maintain and organize patient records and appointment information.
-   Schedule appointments and communicate with patients regarding upcoming visits.
-   Assist with hearing aid cleaning, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
-   Educate patients on routine hearing-aid care and proper use of equipment.
-   Maintain a clean, organized, and patient-friendly clinical environment.
-   Handle phone calls, messages, and general administrative duties.
-   Protect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times.
-   Provide friendly, professional customer service throughout the patient experience.

## Requirements

-   High school diploma or equivalent required.
-   Previous experience in a healthcare, hearing care, medical office, or customer service environment is preferred.
-   Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-   Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
-   Comfortable working with patients of different ages and backgrounds.
-   Basic computer and administrative skills.
-   Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
-   Compassionate, dependable, and professional approach to patient care.

### **Preferred Skills**

-   Experience with hearing aids or audiology services.
-   Medical office or patient-care experience.
-   Familiarity with electronic health records and appointment scheduling systems.
-   Bilingual skills are a plus.
