## Description

**Senior Analyst, FP&A**

📍 Shoreham-by-Sea Hybrid (2–3 days in office)

💰 Up to £60,000 + discretionary bonus

**Shape the numbers that shape the strategy.**

Focus Group is a £300m-revenue, 1,300-person technology services company backed by Hg Capital — and following our $1bn valuation in 2024, we're scaling fast. As we grow through acquisition and investment, our FP&A function sits at the very heart of how we make decisions. This is a rare opportunity to join that team.

Reporting directly to the Group's Director of FP&A, you'll be a key voice in the room — partnering with our Executive Leadership Team and Private Equity owners to deliver the financial insight that drives performance.

**What you'll be doing**

You'll take real ownership from day one. That means running budgeting, forecasting and management reporting cycles, building scenario models to support strategic planning, and keeping a sharp eye on KPIs across the business. You'll also play an important role in our M&A agenda — helping assess and track the performance of acquired businesses against their investment case.

This isn't a back-office role. You'll be answering investor queries, influencing senior leaders, and helping to continuously raise the bar on our analytical tools and processes.

**What we're looking for**

You'll be partly qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) and bring solid experience in financial analysis, modelling or a related field — ideally with a background in transaction services, strategy consulting or M&A. You're fluent in P&L analysis, cash flow dynamics and working capital, and you know your way around a complex Excel model.

Beyond the technical skills, you're naturally curious, detail-obsessed, and comfortable working with stakeholders at every level. A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or similar is preferred, and experience with Power BI or equivalent tools would be a bonus.

**Why Focus Group?**

We're at an exciting inflection point — a £300m business with the energy and ambition of a scale-up. You'll get genuine exposure to Private Equity, M&A activity and executive-level decision making, all within a collaborative finance team that's investing in both its people and its tools.
