Mesh & Bar is a leading Australian manufacturer and supplier of reinforcing steel and mesh products, supporting residential, commercial and infrastructure projects across the country. We are currently looking for an experienced **Health, Safety, Quality & Training Manager** to lead HSQT across our NSW operations.

Supporting **Mesh & Bar, Concrete Industry Supplies, Meshworks and Builder's Trade Centres**, this is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being out in the business, partnering with operational leaders and teams to improve safety, training and quality across our sites.

### The role

You'll take ownership of HSQT across NSW, including:

·       Driving improvements to our WHS and Quality Management Systems

·       Conducting site audits, inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations

·       Developing SOPs, work instructions and practical safety documentation

·       Managing workers compensation, injury management and return to work

·       Maintaining and delivering the NSW training plan

·       Identifying training and competency gaps across our workforce

·       Developing and delivering safety, quality and operational training

·       Maintaining ISO 9001, ACRS and SSA certifications

·       Managing non-conformances, corrective actions and quality reporting

·       Supporting product quality requirements and AS4671 compliance

·       Contributing to national safety, quality and training initiatives

·       Reporting into the NSW GM, working closely with Branch Managers and operational teams across NSW, as well as our National SHEQ Manager.

### About you

We're looking for someone who can **connect with people on the floor just as comfortably as they can work with senior leaders.**

You'll ideally bring:

·       Safety/WHS experience within heavy **manufacturing, steel, construction, logistics or a similar operational environment**

·       Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, risk management and safety systems

·       Experience developing and delivering workplace training

·       Confidence conducting investigations, audits and site inspections

·       Exposure to quality management systems and ISO 9001

·       Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

·       A practical, solutions-focused approach to safety and training

·       Experience with ACRS, AS4671 or reinforcing steel would be highly regarded but isn't essential.
