**About the Role**

As we move toward 2.2 million tonnes per annum, production drilling accuracy becomes increasingly important. Our Long Hole Drillers are central to delivering quality stopes that drive predictable production and minimise dilution. 

Working in technically varied ore bodies, you’ll operate modern Sandvik long hole production drills, drilling to tight tolerances and collaborating closely with geology and engineering to execute designed stope plans. 

This is a role for operators who understand that drilling precision directly impacts tonnes, grade and recovery. 

**Key Responsibilities** 

-   Operate long hole production drill rigs 

-   Drill production rings in accordance with design specifications 

-   Maintain drilling accuracy to minimise overbreak and dilution 

-   Conduct equipment inspections and basic maintenance 

-   Collaborate with charge-up and technical teams to ensure stope readiness

## Requirements

**About You** 

To be successful in this role, you will have: 

-   Strong commitment to safety and team-based work  

-   Proven experience operating long hole production drills 

-   Strong understanding of ring design and drilling accuracy requirements 

-   Experience in remnant or technically complex stoping environments (desirable) 

-   Commitment to maintaining clean and efficient working areas 

-   Ability to follow procedures and work to plan  

-   Current Manual C-Class Driver’s Licence
