### About

GAIN is a creative-led, insight-driven company that blends data, tech and creativity. We believe the best ideas emerge where intelligence and creativity unite, where insight sparks imagination, and where innovation turns possibility into progress.

We are explorers of new frontiers, shaping bold strategies that move people, brands, and businesses forward. Individually and together, our specialist teams provide the vision, data, and confidence brands and organisations need to make braver, more impactful decisions.

Today as GAIN, we work as a united force, using data to fuel creativity, and technology to unlock new possibilities. As imagineers we don’t just embrace innovation – we engineer it, transforming information into action, and ideas into breakthroughs.

This is where rebel thinking, smart technology, and data-driven creativity shape the future. Through our five specialist teams: Creative Studio, Conversion, Customer Science,  Experience  and  Performance. Individually, and together, we work to fuel your growth and deliver measurable impact.

### The Role

As a UX/UI Designer on our Delivery team, you will bring experiment hypotheses to life, creating multiple variations of clients' web pages to put to the test.

Informed by exploration, research and strategy, your variations will prove which design choices are most effective for our clients' customers. You will leverage Conversion's extensive quantitative and qualitative insights, along with your field experience, to make actionable, data-driven UX/UI recommendations.

You have a strong portfolio demonstrating your understanding of design strategy and are hands-on in applying user-centered design processes and techniques. You are creative, passionate about user experience, and keen to learn and share insights.

### Responsibilities

- Create wireframes, high-fidelity designs, interactive prototypes, and manage the design-to-development handoff for client A/B tests, user research tests and/or design projects.
- Execute high-fidelity designs from wireframes provided by team members, maintaining consistency with clients' brand guidelines and website look and feel.
- Translate complex workflows and user experience challenges into simple, intuitive designs.
- Leverage Conversion's A/B experimentation data and qualitative research insights to make actionable UX/UI recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal team members (such as but not limited to Consultants, Project Managers, Developers, etc.) to bring ideas to life.

## Requirements

The ideal candidate has the following qualifications, but we encourage you to apply even if you feel you do not meet 100% of the requirements below.

- 3-5 years of professional Web UX/UI Design experience.
- A degree in UX/UI Design, or a related field.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking, attention to detail, and user-centered design — ideally including conversion-focused or data-informed work.
- Strong proficiency in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Solid experience creating interactive prototypes.
- Solid knowledge of responsive design.
- A fundamental understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — enough to work with Front End Developers and understand development limitations.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- A proven track record of adapting your UX/UI style to suit different industries and target markets.
- Experience designing for A/B or multivariate testing environments is a strong asset.
- Copywriting or microcopy experience is a plus, particularly for writing variation copy for A/B tests.
- Familiarity with structuring designs to support AI-assisted development workflows is a plus.

**Behaviours**

- Detail-oriented, consistently meeting and exceeding high standards of accuracy and quality.
- A strategic Designer who can stay focused on the business objective of any digital experience while keeping the user's experience in mind.
- A creative problem solver who can think quickly on your feet to come up with innovative solutions to unique problems.
- Evidence-driven and able to effectively use data & research insights to guide decisions and persuade others.
- Capable of working within established systems, standards, and procedures.
- Supportive and committed to always completing tasks on time.
- Able to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to adapt your UX/UI style to suit different industries and target markets.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, while thriving as a collaborative team player who takes design feedback constructively and can confidently explain recommendations with evidence when questioned.
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools to enhance and accelerate your design workflow.

### How You'll Work

**Make It Happen:** “We turn intent into momentum.” Making it Happen is about turning ambition in to action. We move fast, learn fast, and push through obstacles together. Progress beats perfection, and momentum creates impact.

**Swarming Our Expertise:** “Individually smart. Collectively unstoppable.” Swarming our Expertise means we win together.
